Milldove Photography Ltd | Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photography was started in May 2014.

I love nothing more than getting behind the lens to work my magic. Ever since I got my very first camera in college I've been hooked.

Living in Palmerston North, New Zealand, I have two beautiful sons who inspire me everyday to do this work I love so much. Being able to capture unique moments in people’s lives that they can treasure forever is what really drives me.

Over the years I have experimented with many different types of photography, but when I started doing pregnancy, birth and newborn imagery, I knew I had found my true passion. My expertise lies in my ability to capture those candid moments that express deep emotions of a human connection. Your photo shoot will be relaxed and your imagery real.

Telling your story through beautiful memories is something I find very heart-warming. I love the fact that families have a lifetime of special moments to enjoy.

I have been in the photography industry for over 8 years. I studied at a tertiary level at the Design and Arts College of New Zealand, and graduated in 2010 with a Diploma of Contemporary Photography.

I have won many awards for my incredible work (mostly of birth) nationally and internationally. I was honored to receive the prestigious title of NZIPP Documentary photographer of the year in 2015, the 2018 RISE International Birth Photographer of the year, 2nd 2019 RISE International Birth Photographer of the year, 1st and second place in the birth category in the Documentary Family Awards as well as the Members Choice, Best in category, Postpartum within the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers too.

After winning the prestigious title above in 2015, I was invited to be interviewed on the Good Morning show sharing about my work in Birth Photography.
